What I do
Every discipline from crawlability to AI citation. Commission a single workstream or run the full programme — every piece connects to the same outcome: being found.

Explore SEO Audit →Crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data. The plumbing that every other SEO effort depends on — done properly from the start.
Explore Technical SEO →Search demand mapped to real buyer intent. Topic clusters designed to compound over time — not one-off keyword lists that go stale in six months.
Explore Keyword Research →Existing pages upgraded to rank, earn trust and get cited — in Google results and in AI-generated answers. Intent alignment, semantic depth, entity coverage.
Explore Content Optimisation →Editorially earned links and digital PR coverage that build lasting domain authority — and brand signals AI models actually read. Quality over volume, sustainable through algorithm shifts.

Explore International SEO →Google Business Profile, citation building and near-intent keyword strategy. Showing up where purchase decisions are actually made.
Explore Local SEO →Being cited in ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Copilot isn't accidental — it's structured content, entity authority and the right technical signals, applied consistently.
Explore GEO / AI Visibility →AI Visibility · GEO / AEO
Half of all search queries today are answered before anyone clicks. I optimise for both: the ten blue links and the AI summary above them.
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is what SEO becomes when ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews handle more queries than the blue links below them.
The fundamentals are identical to traditional SEO: clear structure, genuine authority, content that earns citations. The difference is how AI models read, process and attribute sources — and that requires a deliberate layer of optimisation on top.
I run both workstreams simultaneously. The panel on the right shows examples of the kinds of queries that now get answered by AI — and why the structure of your content determines whether you're cited or invisible.
What trail running shoes are best for wide feet and overpronation?
For wide feet with overpronation, look for shoes with a wide toe box and stability features1 — Brooks, ASICS and New Balance lead this category. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS and ASICS Gel-Kayano are frequently cited for overpronators. Stack height and trail aggressiveness also matter, so in-store fitting is recommended2.
Freelancer vs Agency
An agency can be the right call for very large programmes needing five or more simultaneous workstreams. For focused SEO engagement where expertise and accountability matter most, a freelancer is usually the better fit.
About
Started in 2014 at a SEO agency — dozens of clients from the first week, learning fast. Twelve years later: 250+ projects across 30+ markets, from Polish SMBs to global e-commerce groups. For three and a half years in-house as International SEO Team Leader at SmartBuyGlasses Optical Group, owning SEO across 40+ domains, 30+ markets and 15+ languages. Now independent.
Eight of those years were agency-side: building an international SEO department from scratch at iCEA, running full SEO teams at Toro and Tense, learning exactly what breaks at scale — and how to prevent it from breaking again. That agency foundation is what makes in-house work cleaner.
How I work: data first, hypothesis second, ship the change, measure the result. Transparent reporting on a fixed cadence. When something isn't working, I say so early — and I bring a plan for what to do instead.
Career
Agency floors to department leadership to global multi-brand ownership — and now independent. Each step added complexity, scale and new disciplines.
FAQ
With a freelancer, you work directly with the senior specialist doing the work — no account managers relaying messages, no juniors executing someone else's strategy. You get faster decisions, leaner costs, and complete transparency on who is doing what and why. An agency can make sense for very large teams needing multiple simultaneous workstreams, but for most projects a dedicated freelancer delivers more focused expertise at a better price-to-value ratio.
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) are the practices of getting your brand cited and recommended in AI-generated answers — in tools like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok. As more searches are answered directly by AI without a click, being visible in the AI layer is becoming as strategically important as ranking in traditional search results. I run both workstreams simultaneously, so your content is optimised for both.
I work across three models depending on the scope: project-based engagements (one-off audits, strategy documents, technical implementations), monthly retainers for ongoing SEO management and advisory, and hourly consultations for specific questions or team coaching. Every project is priced individually after a short discovery call — there are no standard packages.
Every engagement starts with a discovery call to understand your business, goals and current situation. From there I run an initial audit or analysis, develop a prioritised strategy, and move into execution — technical fixes, content work, link building, GEO optimisation, or whichever workstreams are relevant. You receive regular reporting on a fixed cadence, and I flag issues early rather than letting them compound silently in the background.
Technical fixes can improve crawlability and indexation within weeks. Ranking improvements for competitive keywords typically take three to six months of sustained work. AI Visibility (GEO/AEO) can shift faster — content structure and entity signals are processed more dynamically by AI systems than by traditional indexing cycles. I set realistic expectations from day one and track progress transparently.
My background is international SEO — I've run programmes across 30+ markets including Poland, the UK, Germany, Australia, the United States, and markets across CEE, Western Europe and APAC. I work with clients globally, remotely. There are no geographic restrictions on where we can work together.
Yes. Tomek Sikora works month-to-month, with no long lock-in — you can start, scale or pause as results and budget dictate. This suits companies that want senior, independent SEO and AI-visibility help without committing to a 12-month agency retainer, and it keeps the focus on earning the next month rather than on the contract.
Yes. Tomek Sikora is an independent, senior SEO and AI-visibility consultant based in Poland with 12+ years across 30+ markets. You work with him directly — not an account manager or a rotating junior team — on both strategy and implementation, whether you need SEO, GEO/AEO, technical, international or e-commerce work. It's a fit when you want one accountable senior specialist rather than an agency layer.
