ChatGPT Ads — Campaigns and AI Visibility

ChatGPT Ads set up and run for your business — as a standalone paid campaign or combined with organic AI visibility (GEO). Live in Poland and 30 other European markets since August 2026.

Who can set up ChatGPT Ads for my business?

Tomek Sikora is an independent SEO, GEO and search-advertising specialist who sets up and runs ChatGPT Ads campaigns — either as a standalone paid channel or combined with organic AI visibility, so you only pay where ChatGPT doesn't already recommend you. You work directly with a senior, month-to-month and with no lock-in.

ChatGPT Ads went live in Poland and 30 other European markets on 24 August 2026, and self-serve buying in Ads Manager opened on 31 August. It is a new channel for everyone: nobody has years of benchmarks yet. What carries over is know-how from search ads, SEO and AI visibility — reading intent, building landing pages that convert, and measuring properly.

Ads appear under ChatGPT's answer, clearly labelled as sponsored, for users on the Free and Go plans. They don't change what ChatGPT answers. That makes the organic side — whether ChatGPT recommends you on its own — as important as the paid slot below it. I work on both, together or separately.

  • Prompt and intent map. Which conversations in your category matter, where ChatGPT already recommends you organically and where it recommends competitors.
  • Paid where organic is weak. Budget goes to conversations you don't win organically, not to ones you already own.
  • Organic fixes in parallel. Content, entity and source work that makes ChatGPT recommend you without paying — so ad spend can shrink over time.
  • One report. Paid and organic AI visibility measured side by side.
  • Readiness check. Is your category eligible, which markets and conversations to target, what budget and success metric make sense.
  • Setup in Ads Manager. Account, OpenAI Pixel or Conversions API, campaign structure, bidding (CPM, CPC or conversion-optimised) and geo-targeting.
  • Ads and landing pages. Short ad copy within the format limits and landing pages built for people arriving mid-conversation.
  • Optimisation and reporting. Weekly tuning and a clear monthly read on cost per lead or sale — and an honest call if the channel doesn't pay off.
  • Where. Ads show and can be bought in 31 European markets, including Poland, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, plus the US, UK and other regions.
  • Who sees them. Logged-in adults on the Free and Go plans. Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users see no ads.
  • Targeting in the EU. No personalised ads in the EEA and Switzerland for now — ads match the context of the current conversation.
  • Budget. Minimum daily budget of 65 PLN, 15 EUR or 25 USD, depending on billing currency.
  • Restrictions. Ads aren't shown next to health, mental health or political topics, and each ad passes policy review.

Questions about ChatGPT Ads

  • Sponsored units shown under ChatGPT's answers: advertiser name, logo, a short title and copy, an image and a link to your landing page. They are labelled as sponsored and matched to the topic of the conversation.

  • Yes. Ads have been shown to users in Poland since 24 August 2026, and Polish businesses have been able to open their own advertiser account in OpenAI Ads Manager since 31 August 2026.

  • According to OpenAI, no. Ads are shown separately from the answer and don't change what ChatGPT recommends. That's why organic AI visibility (GEO) remains a separate, parallel job.

  • The platform minimum is a daily budget of 65 PLN, 15 EUR or 25 USD. A sensible first test runs for several weeks with a budget large enough to reach statistically useful numbers in one or two conversation themes.

  • No. Ads aren't eligible next to health, mental health or political topics, and every ad goes through policy review. Regulated sectors should check eligibility before planning a campaign.

  • Usually both, in a different order for different companies. If ChatGPT already recommends you, ads add reach where it doesn't. If it doesn't recommend you at all, ads buy visibility now while GEO builds the organic recommendation that lasts.
